I wrote this song in the hopes of writing something that was bright, positive, and beautiful. I just finished writing a darker song "Déjalo Mía" and wanted to counter balance those heavy feelings. The lyrics are a reminder of the love and support that we can have for one another. It isn't always easy, but its there. It could be seen as being sung by a friend, lover, family member, or even something spiritual. I mention the idea of having faith but I don't think it always necessarily has to be associated with religion. It can be faith in a bright light and a positive future.

This is the first time that I incorporate vocals, beats, and guitar into a single recording session at the same time! I've been recording and mixing these last few songs all on my own. Though I am continuing to learn and have a long way to go, This song made me start to feel a little more comfortable with the recording process and the fun that it can bring as opposed to the fear.

There are actually 2 album covers which both include myself and my partner, Alba Castro. The one that is featured is a photo of Alba outstretching her hands into a garden at the Getty Museum in Southern CA. The second (Which you can see by clicking on the song title and by downloading the album) is a drawing we made together in an attempt to create something together. Colors swirl and shine in the magnificence that is beauty and life. The photograph, which just happened to be a spontaneous shot that I took of her hand play, reminded me of someone reaching out in search of truth and magic.

This song and the art pieces that accompany it are dedicated to that love and the desire to lift and inspire the better half of one another.
